Ed is a friendly and enthusiastic member of the Booths Music tuition team, with nearly 20 years of experience as a drummer. He’s played in all kinds of projects over the years, from original bands and cover bands to function work, giving him plenty of real-world experience to share with his students. Ed enjoys playing — and teaching — a wide range of styles, including rock, metal, hip-hop, and soul, and loves helping students discover what excites them behind the kit. Rockschool qualified to Grade 8 level, Ed has toured across the country with original bands and has supported acts such as Crazytown and Dayseeker. Further to this impressive background, he’s approachable, patient, and encouraging in lessons. Ed is passionate about helping drummers become creative, expressive, and confident, and believes learning drums should be just as enjoyable as it is rewarding.
