Sam is an experienced drummer having played from an early age and has been teaching complete beginner level to post grade 8 level since 2010. He has played in multiple live bands of varying genres such as pop, rock, funk, metal and jazz. Having toured with his award winning pop punk band Soundtrack to your Summer, Sam has valuable experience playing all around the UK sharing the stage with bands such as Lower Than Atlantis and Attack! Attack!, playing in venues including the NIA and NEC arenas in Birmingham and the Mermaid Theatre in London.

Tuition has been a passion of his since finishing college, teaching privately to teaching for independant music schools. Sam enjoys seeing his students progress and has a 100% pass rate for all who have entered Rockschool drum exams.

Sam has a BA Honours in Audio Production from SAE (School of Audio Engineering) Liverpool studying everything encompassing live and studio environments working with live bands and musicians. In addition he has a Diploma in Music Performance (drum discipline) from North Trafford College (Manchester Music Base) which helped develop skills such as technique, theory, styles and reading. He now performs in a variety of bands as well providing services as a sound engineer.
