However, we do provide high-quality string tuition for violin, viola, and double bass, taught by experienced specialist tutors. In addition to string tuition, we offer lessons on a variety of other instruments, including banjo, ukulele, and mandolin, taught from our downstairs studios. While these instruments are great fun to learn, music theory is always incorporated, ensuring students develop strong musical foundations and achieve a high playing standard.
Although we are not currently able to offer cello lessons, Booths Music remains passionate about string education. Students interested in the cello are welcome to begin their journey on violin, viola, or double bass, building transferable string technique, musical understanding, and reading skills that can later support a move to the cello.
