Brass lessons for all instruments including trumpet, cornet, tuba and more are available at our Bolton centre music school. As always, brass instruments are available for purchase in-store.

Whether you’re drawn to the brilliance of the trumpet or the warm, lyrical tone of the cornet, our experienced tutors focus on developing strong technique, breath control, and musicality, helping students of all ages build skill, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of brass playing.

Whilst it would be recommended to have your own instrument for practise purposes at home or elsewhere, we do have instruments ready for use in our brass lessons. All tuition takes place in our comfortable studios at 17 Churchgate, Bolton, with brass lessons taking place upstairs.

Whilst placing emphasis on technique, dynamics, posture and various other points to ensure a good knowledge of brass playing, theory is also an important factor in brass lessons that will be covered. Help integrating with local brass bands is also available with the staff and brass tutors.

Booths Music actively collects for various charities. With a book club and charity events, (that our teachers and students have the option to perform in) substantial funds have very gratefully been raised.
