When our violins arrive, every instrument — in every size — is taken straight to our workshop for an individual professional setup. This includes: Bridge Preparation The bridge is re-profiled to an optimal contour for improved response and playability, then uniquely stamped as a mark of authenticity and quality control. String Stability & Tuning Preparation The violin is tuned, the strings pre-tensioned, fine adjusters reset and re-tuned. This ensures greater tuning stability and reduces early settling issues. Soundpost Adjustment The soundpost is carefully checked and positioned to help release the best tonal quality and projection from the instrument. Final Play Test The bow is prepared with quality rosin, and the instrument is fully played and given a final inspection before sign-off. Optional Geared Pegs For players who prefer maximum tuning precision and ease, geared pegs can be fitted upon request.
