The string tuition area can be found on the upper floor of our Bolton centre, covering violin lessons, viola, cello and more. We run our own introductory course to help students progress towards mainstream graded exams – many pieces being written by our violin virtuosos, Matt and Carl. Students benefit from backing tracks provided by their music tutor and are encouraged to interact with other players. Students have enjoyed taking exams with the various boards available to us, including Trinity and ABRSM.

Other particularly popular instruments at present include the Banjo and Ukulele, which are taught from our downstairs studios alongside the Mandolin. Although these instruments are fun to learn, theory is incorporated into lessons and a high playing standard can be achieved.
Booths Music actively collects for various charities. With a book club and charity events, (that our teachers and students have the option to perform in) substantial funds have very gratefully been raised.
